Our history goes back to the 80s, when our founder, Don Manuel, decided to acquire the Estate, which has 500 hectares and different agricultural explotations, motivated by his great passion for the countryside and personal connection with the rural world.
After 25 years implementing constant improvements in our viticulture and more than 10 years doing different tests, we decided to start bottling our own wines under the brand Quinta de Aves.

Thanks to the quality of our grapes, consequence of the knowledge and dedication in the field, and the support of excellent technicians and winemakers, we launched our first wines to the market for its commercialization both in the national and international markets.

The name of our winery comes from the specil environment in which the Estate is set. “Quinta” makes reference to cottage and Quinta de Aves is the house of more than 100 different bird species. The Estate is located in a migratory passway, a part from being the habitat of many others. As a result, the landscape of the birds flying over the ponds and the vines is unique. This is why we represent birds on our labels, making a connection between the wine and the environment in which the vines grow.

Quinta de Aves project consits in the elaboration of quality wines, in which we only use grapes from our 82 hectares located, togehter with the  winery, in our Estate. We are located in Campo de Calatrava, where soils are characterized for having volcanic origins. Our technical team, formed by Rafael and Federico Lucendo brothers, with experience in both oenology and viticulture, form a perfect tandem so that all these values are transferred to our wines
